Shining golden boy, untouched by the night.

Cameron pulls his blanket over his head, the chill room making his bones ache.

He hates Ferris. For being untouched by anything other than perfection. For having a touch that turns everything to gold. For never touching him.

For never really seeing him and the dark mediocrity that clings to him like an addiction. The same absence of excess that puts Ferris in sharp relief each time they stand together. No one sees Cameron. But when he's around, no one can not see Ferris.

Food...shelter...no...yes...

Cameron dozes and dreams nattering half-dreams until grey shadow is invaded by a ringing phone.
